This blog is a work in progress as a result of some ideas I had about informing Adult Webmasters – new and experienced – as to what is available out there for them in the world of Adult promotion. Expect regularly updated news regarding the industry itself, as well as new tools your favorite sponsors have recently added to their affiliate programs.

If you’re fairly new to the industry, be sure to check out the GETTING STARTED page for some helpful tips and tricks.

Talk about a deal! Just when I thought that Certified Hosting was one of the lowest priced and most supported Adult Web Hosts out there, they go and offer something like this. For those who are ready to take the next step up from Shared Hosting to a Dedicated Server but don’t have the funds for a fully Dedicated Server, this could be your saving grace. I know it was for me. One of my main questions was “So will I see much of a difference with my sites and blogs loading up faster?” Legitimate question after all, as this isn’t a completely Dedicated Server and is still shared with 50 other accounts. As opposed to 200-300 accounts with a Shared Hosting Account. I was informed from the always efficient and fast responding Certified Hosting support that yes, I would notice a significant difference with my sites. Guess what? I surely did. I would estimate my blogs and sites load up about 5 times faster. More sales due to faster loading times? You bet!

Here’s a screenshot of their plans:

So what do you think? Think it’s about time you stepped up your hosting plan and not have to worry about surfers waiting forever for your sites and blogs to load up? I can vouch for the SEMI3 plan and tell you right now that you won’t be disappointed one bit. Call me on it if you want. I’ll be here.

Check out the SEMI Plans Here > > >

Have you ever received a check, a wire transfer, or an Epassporte payment and wondered what site it was that made you the money? Or for another fact, what sponsor? After all, it’s not like it’s the actual sponsor who pays you. Thank God for that anyway! I’m sure most of us really don’t want checks showing up in our mailbox with company titles like “Porn Pays” or some damn thing. LOL.

Who Paid Me might be able to help you in your search for who really did pay you. Their amazing search engine database has pretty well every known processor and porn payment company known to the internet. Just pick a Sponsor, Payment Method, or Niche and you should be on your way. I know it’s helped me many times in the past.

Of course, Who Paid Me has many other resources you might find useful to you, so be sure to have a good look around and do some reading once you find out who actually sent that damn check or Epassporte payment.

Yes, that seems to be the question I hear a lot on the message boards these days. What works best? Free Sites? Blogs? TGPs? Well, I can’t really answer those questions because there are many factors involved with success. Let’s take a good look at them shall we?

Yes, that seems to be the question I hear a lot on the message boards these days. What works best? Free Sites? Blogs? TGPs? Well, I can’t really answer those questions because there are many factors involved with success. Let’s take a good look at them shall we?

1. Traffic – It is the key to our success as Webmasters and salespeople. Just like you need a lot of folks coming into your store in the “real world” in order to be successful, so do you need lots of surfers hitting your sites and hopefully….signing up for memberships under your affiliate links.

2. The way you present your content – Yes, this is a very misunderstood part of this industry. Most sites I visit I see content just thrown up in the form of really bad, stuttering videos, or really large videos which take forever to stream. I’m on a very fast internet connection. How does a surfer feel if they go to that site and their connection is only half or a quarter as good as mine? Not everyone lives in North America or Europe and has a wicked fast surfing speed. Keep them in mind. However, nor do you want to skimp on content and put up total crap that no one is remotely interested in looking at. Make sure the images are clear, the video streams well, and there is some good text to go along with it all.

3. Text – Oh yes. Don’t think it’s important? You are sadly mistaken my friend. Text is what closes your sales or at least gets the surfer over to the Tour for the final round. You MUST provide descriptions of the content you put up. It MUST be informative and take the surfer on a journey into that erotic part of their brain. After all, it is what you’re trying to do right?

These are the major issues I see with a lot of sites I go to when surfing around to see what’s new in Adult. I do it all the time. Try it some time. You may pick up some things you never knew or suddenly realize how over exposed your galleries and niches are.

Ok, so back to the original question – To blog or not to blog? Do Free Sites sell better than blogs do? Well for one thing, unless you’re linked up with some pretty huge directories, chances are you’re not getting an immense amount of traffic to your Free Sites. A blog gets published and the search engines pick it up within minutes. Next time you put up a blog entry, do a search for it on Google the next day. Chances are you’ll find it.

TGPs are a whole other monster and can be more of a headache than anything if not done right. This is not to say that they don’t sell. On the contrary. A good TGP with major link trades can be a monster of a seller. Just getting it so can be a lot of work. So be prepared to take that on.

The bottom line here is all of these platforms make money if done right. However, blogs have brought the Adult Industry to the forefront of the search engines and get “spidered” all the time. I bet you’ve got links coming into your blogs you never even knew existed. Think of your blog as a Newsletter or even a Magazine. On the world wide web, that’s exactly what they are. So yes, blog my friends. Blog until you can’t blog anymore and watch that traffic hit you more and more each day. Then the $$$ should come trickling in once your audience loves what you offer and know you’re there to provide them with good, quality porn.

Happy Blogging!
